this is such a cute date spot and their cocktails are sooo good! We were recommended little rituals cocktail by our waiter and it did not disappoint! Super refreshing with perfect amount of sweetness and salt! The food was tasty and presentation was pretty as well ! We got the cucumbers, green beans, and the fatty noodles. The cucumbers were pickled perfectly and had a great crunch! The green beans dish was okay- super flavorful, the noodles were a little bit bland for me but the texture was great! All in all, would definitely come back to try out the rest of the menu!

What a pleasant surprise for Taiwanese food on the west side, coming from a predominantly Asian neighborhood. The service was great and they were very happy to introduce us to the most popular dishes. We got non-alcoholic cocktails as well and personally I prefer the disco biscuit, which was more fruity and sweet. The squid ink XLB doesn't have too much of a difference from a regular pork XLB but they got the texture down. Green beans were a hit and it was interesting to see goji berries incorporated. Hainan chicken was not dry at all, had good flavor. I didn't realize there was pandan in here until I read the menu again so know that's not a strong flavor. Loved the XO fatty noodles which were reminiscent of a fusion of the Cantonese dish beef chow fun in flavor and Cantonese cheung fun for, of course, the rolled rice noodle.

Always down for a dinner at lil fatty! Dim lighting, sexy bar, and great food. This is THE spot in Mar Vista for a casual dining experience or a nice date night. I haven't tried many drinks, but they have an extensive cocktail menu and everything looks delicious. As for the food, you can't go wrong with the noodles... the beef chow fun and Dan Dan noodles are both great. The Asian greens which is very garlicky (beware if on dates) is a HUGE portion and tasty. I could do without the cauliflower, I'm not a huge fan and it doesn't keep well if you have leftovers! The beef roll appetizer with a dipping sauce (au ju?) is interesting and really good as well!

Became one of my favorite Taiwanese restaurants after trying it just once! It's the perfect place for a date night or a nice putting with a small group of friends. It's very dim setting and it sets the mood because who doesn't love a modern restaurant in a dim setting. The bar adds a lovely asthetic to the entire restaurant as well. For appetizers, we got the beef roll and it was so good. Especially with the sauce that it comes with. Literally drowned my beef roll in it. Then for our entrees, I got the bok choy, fatty noodles, and honey walnut shrimp. the bok choy and fatty noodles was AMAZING, and my girlfriend said the honey walnut shrimp was one of her favorites (i'm allergic). As for drinks, lemme tell you that they don't short you on alcohol. As you can see I have some food photos missing. I may have gotten a little drunk. Their specialty cocktails are really good! Our waiter was very helpful and kind the first time. He gave great recommendations and was attentive and quick with everything. Love this place.
